01/25/2010: Secondary Containment Available for Tote Storage Enclosure System
 SPATCO™ DEF has added an industry first secondary containment feature to their Tote Storage Enclosure System. Secondary containment is required for the storage of all regulated hazardous materials. While Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is not considered a hazardous liquid by the EPA, this containment option will be a benefit to those customers concerned with ground and water contamination.

 With weeks to go before the new EPA 2010 emissions standard for commercial vehicles and diesel engines goes into effect, a national research study of vocational trucks (classes 3-8) conducted by Quixote Group Research indicates that nearly 80 percent of the vocational market for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) will be served by supplies at truck stops and retail service stations. 09/01/2009: Detroit Diesel Cites BlueTec Testing Milestone
 Detroit Diesel Corp. announced that its BlueTec emissions technology has completed 25 million miles of testing ahead of schedule.
